Collaged Portrait (2024)
Under the Iceberg
I made this drawing using colored pencils on paper and then digitally added the patterned background. This portrait is about how often we push down our id. The id is a concept suggested by Sigmund Freud that refers to unconscious, immediate desires.
WhiteBoard Collaged Portraits (2025)
I create art with whatever I have on hand. Being constantly surrounded by whiteboards, they naturally get filled with my doodles. I drew these two works directly on a whiteboard and later pasted them onto a solid background.

A wonderful Life (2026)
This drawing was inspired by the Japanese movie ワンダフルライフ (Wonderful Life). The movie is set in the afterlife where each person, after death, chooses only one memory from their life to keep. This memory is one that brings them joy and embodies their life. It is filmed and they are able to watch it again. For example, one person chooses a memory of herself as a child dancing to a specific song, while another man chooses the memory of flying a plane and seeing the beautiful clouds from the cockpit. In my drawing, I wanted to show the significance of everyday life and how small details can often be the moments that are cherished the most.
All swirls were hand-drawn and aimed to create a 3D effect looking from different perspectives. The final drawing of the three in the collection was based off of a New York subway photo I took.
