About Me

Welcome to my Art Portfolio! My name is Leslie Fry, and I am a New York City–based artist who loves to create.

I have taken classes at Pratt Institute, including Fashion Illustration, Color Theory in Practice, and Painting and Drawing, where I was mentored by Nina Edwards, Melanie Kozol, and Kelly Worman. In 2025, I received a Certificate in Fine Arts from Pratt, and in 2026, I had the privilege of returning as a guest lecturer for Nina Edwards' portfolio class.

I create vibrant, colorful artworks, working primarily in digital collage and pencil drawing, though I am not confined to collaging images. I collage fields, layering in scientific concepts such as math and psychology. In that same spirit, I often reuse items such as bottles, cans, paper, whiteboards, and old film. For me, collaging is a way of bridging mediums and people together. My focus on people comes from my love of people-watching in cities, watching cinema, and my fascination with the human brain.
