About Me

Welcome to my Art Portfolio! My name is Leslie Fry, and I am a New York City-based artist who loves creating.

I have taken classes at Pratt Institute, including Fashion Illustration, Color Theory in Practice, Painting and Drawing, and more. There, I was mentored by Kelly Worman, Melanie Kozol, and Nina Edwards. In 2025, I received a Certificate in Fine Arts from Pratt Institute.

I create vibrant, colorful artworks aimed at depicting human behavior, interactions, and the lack thereof. This theme stems from my love of people-watching in cities and my fascination with the human brain and psychology. This passion for science often crosses over into my art, where I also include mathematical or biological concepts in my artworks.

While my main mediums are collage and pencil drawing, I love experimenting with many different materials. I dabble in watercolor, charcoal, oil pastels, oil paint, graphite, and sewing with fabrics, among others.
